Emperor Entertainment Group Limited
Zhongbei Emperor Entertainment Group Limited ("Zhongbei
Emperor") was a joint venture involving a total
investment of approximately RMB 10 million set up in
July 2003 by Emperor Entertainment Group and Beijing
Zhongbei TV Art Center Co. Ltd. of China. The latter
is a controlling unit of Beijing All Media and Culture
Group which is renowned for its large-scale quality
production, market-oriented operations and leadership
in the television drama series production industry in
PRC.
Zhongbei Emperor's operations are divided into five segments,
namely (1)Artiste Management; (2)Business Development;
(3)Marketing and Promotion; (4)Administration and Finance;
and (5) the Zhongbei Emperor School of Performing Arts.
Located in Chaoyang District, Beijing City, the Zhongbei
Emperor School of Performing Arts has a teaching complex
and student dormitory in a 4-storey building with a
gross floor area of more than 3,000 square metres. Besides
training, students attending the education programme
will be arranged to take part in various performances
to gain practical on-stage experience. Outstanding graduates
will be short listed and recruited as formal contract
artistes of Zhongbei Emperor. The company's first batch
of contract artists comprises a total of 32 graduates
including Baby Q, a five-girl pop idol-group that appeals
to youngsters at home and in overseas markets.
